Exciting Updates for Forza Horizon 5's 10th Anniversary Celebration

Chapter 1: A Decade of Forza Horizon
The Forza Horizon franchise, which debuted in October 2012, is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. To mark this milestone, Microsoft is rolling out a significant content update for Forza Horizon 5, set to be released on October 11. This free update will kick off a month-long celebration, introducing exciting new features, including the "Horizon Origins Story."
This new story mode will consist of five chapters, allowing players to experience memorable gameplay moments from earlier titles in the series. Upon completing this journey, players will be rewarded with the exclusive 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS Anniversary Edition—an homage to the iconic cover car from the original game.
In addition, players can look forward to the introduction of the Midnight Battle game mode. This mode will challenge players to participate in various street races scattered throughout the map. Winning these races will grant access to some classic vehicles, including:
- 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1
- 1984 Honda Civic CRX Mugen
- 2003 Toyota Celica SS-I
- 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670–4 SV
Furthermore, the update will feature a brand-new permanent radio station, showcasing tracks from previous Horizon games. Players can unlock these songs by completing accolades tied to the Horizon Origins Story.
As an added bonus, players can acquire fresh items inspired by past Horizon locations, such as Australia, including:
- Apparel
- Outfits
- Emotes
- Car Horns
Additionally, new festival sites themed around previous game locales will emerge across the Forza Horizon 5 landscape.
With these exciting updates, my initial boredom with Forza Horizon 5 has been reignited, and I anticipate logging many more hours into the game while working to unlock all the new vehicles.
